The Maurice and Dorothy Stubnitz Foundation was created to benefit and promote education, the arts, environmental and humanitarian causes, conservation and other charitable activities.
Awarding Grants in Lenawee County
Maurice and Dorothy Stubnitz were very interested in education, the arts and the promotion of environmental and humanitarian causes. These are the primary basis of giving each year to qualified non-profit organizations.
An organization must be able to prove non-profit status
The organization must be located in or serve Lenawee County residents
Requests must align with the interests and mission of the Maurice and Dorothy Stubnitz Foundation
How are grants awarded?

Grant applications are accepted March 1 – April 30 each year. Visit our Applicants page to learn about the grant requirements and submit an application..
Wait for selection
The board members of the Stubnitz Foundation review each application and provide the grant awards once each year, in the Spring.
